Job summary

The DM Burr Group is seeking a Part Time Custodian for the 2nd shift at Charter Communications in Middleville, MI. You will perform cleaning and care for the facility using approved methods and operate industrial floor scrubbers, buffers and vacuums.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift 40 lbs, and 0–6 months custodial experience. DailyPay is available and a $200 hiring bonus after 90 days, plus benefits like 401K and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or technical school certification.
• Must be self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• 0–6 months custodial/janitorial experience with floor scrubbers/buffers.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to read and follow label instructions on cleaning supplies.
• Ability to follow basic verbal & written instructions.
• Attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Use approved cleaning methods and materials for the assigned facility.
• Operate and maintain equipment (auto floor scrubbers, buffers, stripping machines, vacuums).
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub and polish floors.
• Empty trash receptacles.
• Remove stains from surfaces as needed.
• Clean furniture, window sills, walls, ceilings, and light fixtures.
• Move furniture to access areas and clean accordingly.
• Stock/restrooms, janitorial closets, and break rooms.
• Record cleaning functions on logs and report to Supervisor.
• Perform light maintenance and report safety issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Scheduled:

Every Friday, 2 hours after 5:00pm at Charter Communications in Middleville, MI.

Wage:

$20.00/hour

Primary Responsibilities:

• Use approved methods and materials in cleaning and caring for assigned facility.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as; auto floor scrubbers, burnishing buffers, stripping machines and vacuums.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub and polish floors using industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing and buffing machines.
• Empty trash receptacles.
• May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
• General cleaning furniture, window sills, and walls.
• Dust, wash walls, clean ceilings, and polish light fixtures.
• Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas.
• Clean/stock all restroom, janitorial closet and break rooms.
• Record and document all cleaning functions on appropriate logs and report to Supervisor.
• Perform light building maintenance duties as needed.
• Report any major safety item for repair.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
