Position Overview

Encore Wire, one of the nation’s top copper and aluminum wire manufacturers, employs over 1,300 people in a 2million square‑foot facility. We are looking for a Custodian who will keep our headquarters, medical clinic and other assigned facilities clean and welcoming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Dust and polish furniture, clear trash, sweep, mop, and clean surfaces.
• Inspect building cleanliness and report any issues.
• Perform general custodial duties as directed by the Services Supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• High‑school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• Previous experience with cleaning equipment (vacuum, buffer, solutions) preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and stoop for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting at least 25pounds.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Duties may be performed outdoors. The job requires repetitive movements, the use of hands, and frequent handling of tools or equipment.
