Position Overview

The Maintenance Planner II is an active member of the Maintenance support staff team, supporting Maintenance processes. Successful candidate should be able to work in a fast environment and be self-motivated. In addition, effective presentation skills are necessary.

Essential Job Functions

• Actively work with the Maintenance staff and Engineers to identify constantly moving Assets.
• Add, update, edit or move assets in the CMMS.
• Regularly audit these asset changes to ensure that the asset tree is constantly staying as accurate as possible.
• This role will involve great attention to detail and discipline in regards to identifying which machine documentation (i.e. electrical versions of mechanical drawings and electrical drawings) get linked to the individual assets.
• Maintain an asset tagging system, ensuring that all current assets and all new assets coming in get tagged correctly.
• Interact with other similar roles in the maintenance network to share best practices, lessons learned, and even aid in planning and setting up maintenance procedures where value-added.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of related experience in a maintenance distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office and Excel).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer maintenance skilled trade training or equivalent experience.
• Prefer experience working with hourly employees as well as exempt personnel.
• Excellent organizational, filing, and recordkeeping skills.
• Self-starter.
• Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
• Desire to help build Maintenance processes in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability.
