Job summary

Innovative Consulting & Management Services (ICMS) is seeking a dependable Custodian to support a Los Angeles facility. The role requires attention to detail and a strong commitment to exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, with an 9:00am–5:30pm shift. Pay is hourly with health and welfare benefits, vacation, and insurance options available to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to stand and walk during the work shift.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine manual tasks to maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions of the building.
• Cleans bathrooms, offices, hallways and other areas by sweeping, mopping and polishing as needed.
• Restocks dispensers and empties trash, ensuring proper decontamination where required.
• Moves, dusts and rearranges furniture and fixtures; cleans windows and walls.
• Ensures areas are well stocked and reports maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Responds to emergency cleanup requests and adheres to health and safety regulations.

ICMS is seeking a dependable and experienced Custodian to support a customer facility located in Los Angeles, CA. We’re searching for an individual who can provide high-quality service, attention to detail, and understand the worth of exceptional customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs routine manual tasks in maintaining the cleanliness, sanitary conditions, and appearance of company building.

The primary responsibilities of the position will include but not limited to:

• Cleans bathrooms, offices, hallways, and any other assigned areas by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing metals, restocking dispensers in all areas
• Empties and decontaminates trash containers
• Moves, rearranges, and dusts furniture and fixtures
• Cleans windows and walls with appropriate tools
• Sweeps sidewalks, porches, and tiled surfaces
• Reports needs for minor building or equipment repair to supervisor
• Folds microfiber towels and flat mops when assigned
• Waters plants, and performs other related duties on the grounds when assigned
• Performs General Cleaning of all areas of the building as directed. General cleaning refers to but is not limited to clean tables, break rooms, lunchrooms, restrooms, offices, doors, mopping floors, taking out the trash, cleaning windows, sweeping, mopping, emergency/needed
• Manages routine upkeep of interior and exterior area, green space, and parking areas
• Follows all health and safety regulations and adheres to PPE requirements
• Completes non-routine cleaning according to the specified job
• Responds to emergency calls, clean up and upkeep requests
• Ensures areas are well stocked, maintained and fully equipped as needed
• Be courteous and professional during the workday
• Report any issues to direct supervisor and manager.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED

Physical Requirements: ability to stand and walk during the work shift

Full-Time Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm
