Job summary

CSS is seeking a reliable custodian to support operations within aerospace manufacturing, laboratory, and cleanroom environments. This role ensures a clean, safe, and professional workplace by performing routine and specialized cleaning and by following all safety and quality standards.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain administrative offices, conference rooms, break rooms, hallways, lobbies, and other common areas.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms with paper products, hand soap, sanitizers, and other consumable supplies.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all assigned areas and floor surfaces.
• Remove trash and recycling from designated collection points and replace liners as needed.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, including door handles, light switches, counters, tables, and shared equipment.
• Perform scheduled deep cleaning and specialty cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Operate commercial cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaning equipment, and floor care equipment.
• Safely handle and properly use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies in accordance with manufacturer instructions and safety regulations.
• Monitor custodial supply levels and notify management when replenishment is needed.
• Maintain equipment in clean working condition and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and site-specific requirements, including those applicable to laboratory and cleanroom environments.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service while working in occupied facilities.
• Perform other custodial and facility support duties as assigned.

The Custodian will perform routine and specialized cleaning services to ensure facilities remain sanitary, organized, and operational.

• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all site safety requirements.
