NNMC Northern New Mexico College in Espanola, NM is hiring a custodian working 40 hours per week at $16.55 per hour. Under supervision, you perform cleaning tasks, dusting, mopping, buffing floors, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and restocking bathrooms while remaining courteous to faculty, staff, and students.
You report to the supervisor and contribute to a safe, healthy campus by addressing cleaning requests, adhering to schedules, and maintaining equipment.

Under supervision and direction, performs custodial maintenance duties, including dusting, mopping, finishing and buffing floors, vacuuming floors and shampooing carpets, and cleaning and restocking bathrooms while maintaining a courteous and respectful attitude when interacting with faculty, staff, and students. Employee reports to the designated supervisor.
Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises Must be able to remain on feet for approximately 90% of workday Climbing multiple staircases, bending and stooping Frequent moving and lifting up to 25 pounds Occasionally move and lift more than 50 pounds
