Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms, and common areas; disposing of waste; and following OSHA safety guidelines. Prior janitorial or warehouse experience is preferred, with a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience operating floor scrubbers, sweepers, or other custodial equipment.

Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)

What will you do?

A day in the life of a Custodial Janitor at VF looks a little like this.

The Janitorial Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized distribution center environment. This role supports daily operations by performing general cleaning and sanitation duties throughout warehouse, office, breakroom, restroom, and common areas. The associate ensures facility cleanliness standards are met while supporting a safe and productive workplace for all employees

Facility Cleaning & Sanitation

• Clean and maintain warehouse floors using sweepers, scrubbers, mops, and other cleaning equipment.
• Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, breakrooms, training rooms, and office spaces.
• Dust, wipe, and disinfect surfaces, tables, fixtures, and touchpoints.
• Clean windows, doors, walls, and other facility surface as needed.
• Replenish paper products, soap, sanitizer, and other janitorial supplies.

Distribution Center Support

• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse aisles, staging areas, docks, and pedestrian walkways.
• Respond to spills, leaks, and other housekeeping issues promptly.
• Support facility appearance standards before, during, and after shift operations.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and facility events as assigned.
• Safely collect and dispose of waste materials according to company procedures.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report unsafe conditions, equipment concerns, or facility issues immediately.
• Properly store and handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized janitorial storage area.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace cleanliness and safety.

• Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Experience operating floor scrubbers, sweepers, or other custodial equipment.

Hiring Range:

$13.61 USD - $17.02 USD per hour

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
