Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and recycling from designated areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize assigned spaces daily.
• Maintain cleanliness of lobby, locker rooms, restrooms, showers, and high-touch surfaces.
• Restock restroom and locker room supplies; keep towel stations stocked.
• Clean glass surfaces, mirrors, doors, and windows as assigned.
• Monitor inventory and notify supervisors when supplies run low.
• Follow YMCA cleaning protocols and safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with events setup and cleanup as needed.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to members and guests.
• Report hazards or unsafe conditions to management immediately.

The Custodial Team Member is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment throughout the YMCA facility. This position supports daily operations by ensuring all assigned areas are properly cleaned, stocked, and maintained to YMCA standards.
