Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of academic buildings, residence halls, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and maintain floors using appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms; replenish paper goods and soap dispensers.
• Remove trash and recycling; transport to designated disposal areas.
• Dust, wipe, and sanitize furniture, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces.
• Clean glass surfaces, mirrors, doors, and windows.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown, including moving tables, chairs, and equipment.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and supply shortages promptly.
• Maintain custodial equipment in proper working condition.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper chemical handling and PPE usage.
• Support summer turnover projects and special campus cleaning initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND FUNCTIONS

• Perform routine cleaning of academic buildings, residence halls, offices, restrooms, and common areas

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
