Base pay range

$14.00/hr - $15.00/hr

The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned.

Custodial members should have strong customer service skills and the ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties
• Follow the daily schedule
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas
• Report incidents and hazards
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Address risky behaviors
• Work collaboratively with team members
• Perform repetitive cleaning tasks
• Keep work areas clean
• Follow protocols and company policies
• Respond to supervision and take directions
• Communicate professionally with staff and customers
• Fill in during staff shortages
• Support shift lead with punch-list items
• Use personal protective equipment properly
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct
• Ensure customer satisfaction
• Understand reporting systems and safety environment

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid driver’s license may be required
• Completion of safety and task training certifications
• Forklift certification may be required
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Ability to interpret instructions, procedures, and manuals
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
• Understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety
• No formal education required; 3-6 months training or experience preferred, or equivalent

Compensation: $14.00-$15.00/hour

Shifts: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
