Job summary

Sherman’s in Peru, IL seeks a Custodial and Warehouse Associate to maintain a clean showroom, prep furniture and appliances for display, and assist with product movement. This role involves physical work and requires taking ownership of the space while coordinating with leadership to keep the store running smoothly.

The position offers 35–40 hours per week (9:00am–5:30pm) with a 5-day schedule (off Wednesdays & Thursdays) and a starting wage of $20.00/hour, plus a benefits package including

Prepare Products for the Floor

Unpack, assemble, and prep furniture, appliances, and mattresses for display or delivery.

Support Product Movement

Receive deliveries from our Distribution Center and help move products safely throughout the store.

Stay Organized and Proactive

Identify areas that need attention and take initiative to keep displays, storage areas, and workspaces clean, organized, and ready for business.

Work Closely with Leadership

Communicate regularly with store managers and the merchandising team to understand priorities and keep the showroom running smoothly.
