Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin seeks a Training Specialist II for the Facilities Services Custodial division to deliver staff training, ensure program compliance, and manage records. You will lead classroom sessions, arrange facilities, and oversee retraining and volunteer development opportunities.

Hours are 40 per week with a 5:30 pm–2:00 am schedule; the role includes driving a university vehicle and supporting staff development across campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with experience training custodians or facilities personnel.
• Public speaking and presentation skills required; ability to follow complex instructions.
• Experience communicating with diverse populations and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote health and well-being through standardized training programs.
• Provide designated classroom training and arrange classrooms and materials.
• Deliver standardized regulatory trainings and perform compliance audits.
• Administer retraining and track records; supervise Transitional Work Program training.
• Maintain attendance records and monthly training reports; operate university vehicle.
