Job summary

CW Resources is seeking a Team Lead Trainer at USCG HQ St. Elizabeth's, DC, to train, coach, and support custodial staff in safety and cleaning best practices. You will lead by example, develop training programs, and tailor coaching to each employee, including those with disabilities, to build skills and independence.

You will ensure quality performance, foster teamwork, and maintain effective communication with coworkers and government officials while promoting an inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience mentoring individuals with disabilities or in human services
• Experience leading custodial or facilities teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to tailor coaching to individual needs
• Experience creating training programs and development plans
• Strong teamwork, decision making, and time management
• Empathy and patience for diverse learning styles
• Ability to build trust and motivate teams

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and support janitorial and facility staff
• Demonstrate proper cleaning techniques and safe practices
• Lead by example and foster a positive work environment
• Monitor work quality and provide individualized coaching
• Develop and implement training programs for staff
• Communicate effectively with team, supervisors, and clients
• Maintain scheduling and reporting via basic software
• Support employees including those with disabilities to reach goals
