Boston College is seeking a Split Week 3rd Shift Custodial Supervisor (9:30 PM start) to lead a team of custodians and oversee weekend coverage. The role manages payroll, staffing, and the cleaning of university facilities with a focus on safety and efficiency.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of three years in supervisory custodial roles, an Associate’s degree or higher, and proficiency with Google Workspace, Word, and Excel. Kronos and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

The Split Week 3rd Shift Custodial Supervisor (1030 pm start time) leads and manages (24 of 81 total) 3rd shift weekday custodians and seven split week custodians.
In addition oversees and directs multiple overtime staff on the weekends and will normally be the Custodial Services manager on duty during the 3rd shift on weekends. They will direct and manage staff on the effective and efficient cleaning of Administrative, Academic and Athletic facilities. They may be called upon to respond to and manage facilities emergencies and report to senior managers to coordinate additional responses if necessary. They are responsible for the morale, training and development of their entire team and will continuously review staffing, performance and hire new staff. They will monitor and approve payroll daily.
They will manage, create and complete work orders using a work order system. They are responsible for the ordering of custodial supplies for the 3rd shift. Must demonstrate a proven ability to administer multiple projects and ability to meet deadlines. This position requires strong interpersonal and analytical skills, including the demonstrable ability to make sound decisions based on available information.
May be required to answer the phone or respond to major emergencies during off hours.
Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $64,100 to $80,100; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
