Job summary

Grosse Pointe Public Schools is seeking 10-15 summer staff to support cleaning and grounds maintenance across school facilities. Roles are suitable for college students home for the summer or anyone seeking flexible, supplemental work.

Typical shifts run Monday through Friday with afternoon or morning slots; some holiday break work may be available. Training and supervision are provided in a school environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of materials, equipment, and methods used in cleaning operations.
• Ability to perform physical labor for cleaning duties, including long hours standing.
• Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions.
• Knowledge of proper use of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to work effectively with staff and students.
• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 25 lbs.

$16.05/hour, typical shift is M-F 3:00pm- 11:30 and 7:00am - 3:00pm
