Orange County Schools is seeking a Custodial Substitute to support daily cleaning and operations across elementary, middle, and high school facilities. This on-call, part-time role reports to the Head Custodian and Principal, with hours set by the Custodial Foreman.
The position requires a High School Diploma, a valid NC driver’s license, and the ability to perform medium physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.

WORK WEEK SCHEDULE: As needed, Monday-Friday, some weekends, hours as determined by the Custodial Foreman
Position Purpose
Under the direction of the Head Custodian and the guidance of the school principal, the custodial substitute will assist in maintaining the cleanliness and daily operations related to custodial tasks. These tasks will enable the school's daily operations to provide students, faculty, and staff with a clean and safe learning environment. A custodial substitute is an on-call, as-needed assignment with out guaranteed daily employment or hours.
