## Custodial Student Worker | 1st ShiftApply: Lynchburg, VA: Part time: Posted 30+ Days Ago: R0008902The Custodian I is responsible for maintaining multisensory excellence standards for all LU facilities, on and off campus, by way of cleaning and sanitizing interior spaces. Emphasizing a clean, orderly and aesthetically pleasing environment; the Custodian I will work alongside teammates and supervisors, utilizing good judgement to support the University’s mission by providing a safe and sanitary environment**Essential Functions and Responsibilities**1. Reports to work at the required time and performs duties as assigned by the Custodial Supervisor.2. Performs daily cleaning and sanitizing of all bathroom facilities, including floors, toilets, walls, partitions, sinks, mirrors, showers, windows, and glass doors. Uses brooms, mop, buckets, vacuum cleaners, and other related cleaning equipment.3. Performs daily cleaning of all interior facility spaces, such as offices, halls, classrooms, labs, food service areas, and common areas.4. Collects trash and recyclable materials from all facilities, for collection, removal and disposal of.5. Wear, use, and maintain proper personal protective equipment.6. Working knowledge of safe and efficient operation of electrically and propane powered and manual cleaning equipment. Must be willing to be trained and follow directions. 7.
