Job summary

Aramark Facilities Management is hiring a Custodial Services Worker I to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This part-time role focuses on routine cleaning and janitorial duties in a commercial facility with on-site training provided. Expect roughly 20 hours per week, scheduled across two weekdays, with hands-on tasks and safety adherence.

Qualifications

• No previous custodial experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to perform routine cleaning and sanitation tasks.
• Ability to work approximately 20 hours per week on a two-day weekday schedule.
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, reach, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to safely use cleaning products, tools, and equipment.
• Preferred: prior custodial or related cleaning experience.
• Preferred: experience in schools, offices, healthcare facilities, manufacturing sites, or public buildings.
• Preferred: basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, breakrooms, hallways, and other assigned areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Replenish paper products, soap, hand sanitizer, and other custodial supplies.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, doors, and entryways.
• Operate custodial equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, mops, and cleaning tools.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Identify and report maintenance, safety, or repair concerns to supervisors.
• Store and handle cleaning chemicals and supplies according to safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
• Follow all Aramark safety policies and required PPE procedures.
• Support additional housekeeping and facility cleaning needs as assigned.
