Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED or vocational training.
• Six to eight years of related custodial management experience.
• Knowledge of custodial processes, safety standards, and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Hire, supervise, and monitor performance of custodial personnel in the unit; coordinate training
• Meet with building management and tenants regarding service quality and satisfaction
• Conduct daily inspections of facilities, storage areas and equipment to maintain quality
• Coordinate ongoing training, orientation and feedback to staff
• Manage supplies and equipment procurement and usage
• Provide access control and secure equipment per internal procedures
• Ensure staff adheres to safety standards and maintain records
• Support sustainability initiatives (green cleaning, waste diversion)
• May manage loading docks and service hallway upkeep in coordination with campus services
• Perform other duties as assigned
