Kennesaw State University is seeking a Custodial Services Manager to oversee daily operations across the Kennesaw and Marietta campuses. The role ensures cleaning standards, staff supervision, training, and adherence to policies.

Responsibilities include developing custodial plans, coordinating event support, managing floor care projects, vendor oversight, inventory control, and budget administration, with opportunities for professional development and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license.
• Five (5) years of experience managing custodial services and cleaning operations.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary customer service point of contact for custodial needs across assigned campuses/locations.
• Supervises custodial staff, ensuring training, coaching, performance management, and adherence to policies.
• Oversees daily custodial operations, maintains cleaning standards, and addresses issues promptly.
• Develops custodial plans, strategies, and QA programs to meet missions and safety standards.
• Coordinates custodial support for special events, ensuring staffing for weekdays, weekends, and high-priority needs.
• Manages campus floor care projects with proper methods and timely completion.
• Monitors work orders for accuracy and timely resolution.
• Oversees and evaluates contract cleaning vendors to ensure performance standards.
