Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation in Las Vegas is seeking a housekeeping manager to lead and develop the department, ensuring efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness. The role requires coordinating staffing, training, and safety compliance within a dynamic casino environment.

The ideal candidate has several years in housekeeping management, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to handle guest concerns with professionalism in a busy hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in housekeeping management and Executive.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
• May be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including but not limited to excessive noise and second-hand smoke.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, coach, evaluate, counsel, and discharge staff.
• Establish department guidelines, rules and training programs.
• Coordinate scheduling and assign employees in alignment with business needs.
• Handle customer complaints and concerns.
• Prepare and distribute assignments.
• Inspect and approve cleaning of all assigned areas; review status of assignments and follow-up as needed.
• Check cleaning aids and equipment for proper operation and safety compliance.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• Must have general computer skills.
• Must have strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
