Job summary

Tyler Junior College is seeking a Coordinator, Custodial Services to oversee contracted janitorial services, ensuring compliance with contract terms, health and safety regulations, and institutional expectations. The role conducts quality inspections, monitors performance metrics, and acts as the primary liaison between the College and the cleaning vendor(s).

The position supports a clean, safe campus environment across TJC with travel to TJC West, TJC North, and Jacksonville locations as

Qualifications

Must have SOPs knowledge and understanding of occupational safety and environmental regulations and laws.
Proficient in Word and Excel; able to learn Banner and ServiceNow.
Experience in data analysis and report writing; ability to respond to routine inquiries.
Ability to work with little supervision and follow prescribed procedures.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of a janitorial services contract and ensure delivery per standards and contract terms.
Review cleaning tasks and monitor performance; conduct site audits for compliance.
Identify issues with contracts and develop proactive solutions.
Participate in contract renewals and amendments with the cleaning service company.
Maintain high cleaning standards aligned with contractual expectations.
Build relationships with the cleaning service company and communicate regularly.
