Qualifications

• Certificates in Custodial related fields.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License and insurability under TSTC Liability Policy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in supervising a team of custodial staff.
• Understand cleaning methods, materials, and equipment for different environments.
• Respond to emergency cleaning requests and special projects promptly.
• Enter occupied and unoccupied buildings with appropriate accompaniment.
• Check out tools, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Operate state vehicles and equipment safely.
• Communicate effectively with faculty, staff, and students regarding custodial needs and services.
• Perform physically demanding tasks with frequent lifting (30-60 lbs).
• Follow all safety requirements and use protective equipment.
