  • Serve as liaison between custodial contractors and campus departments to resolve issues.
  • Respond to operational issues and emergencies to ensure continuity of services.

Job Summary:

Support the oversight of custodial operations and contract services to ensure a clean, safe, and compliant campus environment. Assist in managing custodial contracts, monitoring service quality, coordinating operations, and supporting performance tracking and reporting. Contribute to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction across campus facilities.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Required Qualifications:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

Medium Work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly having to move objects.

Positions in this class typically include talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, climbing and balancing, plus pushing, pulling and lifting. Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, odors, dusts, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting and intense noises. Frequent exposure to unpleasant environmental conditions and/or hazards. Majority of work performed outside or with exposure to risk. Frequent physical effort required.

Requirements

Associate degree from an accredited institution and two (2) years of related experience in contract or facilities management OR high school diploma/GED equivalency and five (5) years of custodial management experience.

One (1) year of supervisor or lead experience, or one (1) year in a custodial supervisory or lead role.

Experience working with service contractors.

Licenses and Certifications

Valid Texas Driver’s License* and insurability with the college's insurance carrier.

*Individuals hired for this position may be required to drive a company vehicle. A Motor Vehicle (MVR) Report will be run in conjunction with the background check during the contingent offer stage and annually/bi-annually for the duration of employment at Collin College. Candidates who fail the original background/MVR report or subsequent MVR reports may not be hired and/or terminated based on the results of the report.
