Employment Group is seeking a hands-on Custodial Operations Lead to manage daily cleaning services across administrative and industrial facilities. Lead staffing, training, safety, and resource allocation to meet customer standards.

You will coach and develop custodial staff, conduct inspections, and ensure high-quality results while maintaining clear communication with customers and residents. The role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to EG values.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience; custodial/building maintenance desirable.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and basic machinery.

• Must meet EG requirements to drive a company vehicle.
• Ability to plan and meet goals within established parameters.

About the Role

Leads and manages a team of custodians working in administrative, industrial, and other operational areas, assuring that facilities are cleaned and maintained in compliance with customer requirements, sanitation regulations, within the parameters of the EG service delivery model and EG values.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and oversee daily custodial operations, ensuring assigned areas are properly staffed, employees are trained, safety standards are followed, and teams have the resources needed to succeed.
• Conduct inspections and quality audits to ensure all cleaning tasks, special projects, and corrective actions are completed safely, on time, and to established standards.
• Coach, mentor, train, and support custodial staff, including onboarding new employees, improving performance, and providing hands‑on leadership.
• Build positive working relationships and maintain effective communication with team members, management, building occupants, and customer representatives.
• Perform and support custodial and specialty cleaning activities as needed, including floor care, detail cleaning, project work, and coverage for staffing shortages.
• Maintain required documentation, report maintenance and employee concerns, verify completion of priority work, and perform additional duties to support operational goals and customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

• A high school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience. Experience in building maintenance, custodial services are highly desirable.
• Ability to work with computers, simple machinery and cleaning equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage, lead, and direct the work of custodial staff.
• Ability to communicate well and relate positively with customer facility staff & building residents.
• Must be a strong team-player and coach, working cooperatively with the entire EG team.
• Must meet EG requirements to drive a company vehicle.
• Demonstrated ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals while working within established parameters.
• Ability to operate floor care equipment
