Job summary

Brevard Achievement Center is seeking an onsite leadership role focused on direct labor functions within its housekeeping operations in Cameron, NC. You will balance hands-on custodial work with supervisory responsibilities to ensure contract requirements are met and staff performance is maintained.

Leadership duties include scheduling, training, and guiding employees, while also handling quality control, safety, and coordination with project management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must pass a background screening for access to work areas.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and occasional weekends.
• Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, schedule, and supervise daily housekeeping activities to meet contract requirements.
• Actively use Otuvy software for QA inspections, task assignment, reporting, and quality standards.
• Operate and perform custodial duties including advanced floor care (waxing, buffing, stripping).
• Provide leadership and guidance to encourage staff success and training on equipment use and safety.
• Collaborate with Project Manager and staff to address quality concerns and support continuous service improvement.
• Participate in payroll oversight and timekeeping to ensure accuracy.
• Make employment recommendations including hiring, promotions, terminations, and disciplinary actions.
