Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodial Lead to oversee cleanliness and sanitation for assigned areas and provide direction to custodial staff. The role involves supervising, scheduling, and training, with a focus on safe, efficient operations.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 3:00pm–11:30pm, with a pay rate of $17.00-$18.00 per hour. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience, plus any required safety certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED required.
• 1 year related experience.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
• May require valid driver’s license.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair.
• Schedule clean up and repairs as needed.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Track and maintain supply inventory.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor.
• Monitor employees for proper use of PPE, and supplies.
• Correct at risk behavior and report to supervisor immediately.
• Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement.
