Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodial Lead to oversee cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas and provide direction to custodial staff. The role includes scheduling, training, and ensuring safe equipment use across locations.

Key duties include operating cleaning equipment, tracking inventory, and performing quality inspections. A valid driver's license and CPR/First Aid certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year related custodial experience.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties and daily tasks.
• Provide work direction to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair.
• Schedule clean up and repairs as needed.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Track and maintain supply inventory.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor.
• Monitor employees for proper use of PPE and supplies.
• Correct at-risk behavior and report to supervisor immediately.
• Drive to various work locations as needed.
• Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas needing improvement.
