Job summary

SBM Offshore in Austin, TX is seeking a Custodial Lead to oversee cleaning operations, ensure sanitation, and provide direction to custodial staff. You will perform janitorial duties, manage daily schedules, and assist in training under the Custodial Supervisor.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of related experience, CPR/AED/First Aid certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Education and/ or Experience: High school diploma / GED required. At least 1-year related experience.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CPR/AED/First Aid certification. A valid driver’s license may be required for this position based on business needs. Employees required to drive as part of their job duties must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and meet company driving eligibility requirements. Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair.
• Schedule clean up and repairs as needed.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Track and maintain supply inventory.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
