Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP in Tennessee is seeking a Custodial Lead to oversee cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas and provide work direction to custodial staff. The role includes operating cleaning equipment, maintaining supplies, and coordinating with the Custodial Supervisor.

Responsibilities include scheduling and training staff as needed, conducting quality, service, and safety inspections, reporting incidents, and ensuring proper PPE usage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.
• Valid driver's license may be required for the role.
• Forklift certification may be required depending on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties and operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed.
• Assist scheduling and training of staff as needed.
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairs.
• Conduct quality, service, and safety inspections.
• Report incidents, hazards, and personnel issues to supervisor.
• Monitor PPE usage and ensure safe practices.
• Drive to various locations to perform duties as needed.
• Support corrective actions for areas needing improvement.

# **Title:**Custodial Lead# **Job Description:****Job Overview**The Custodial Lead will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned and provides some work direction to custodial staff. **Roles & Responsibilities**To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.* Perform janitorial duties* Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule* Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor* Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed* Operate motorized cleaning equipment* Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair* Schedule clean up and repairs as needed* Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area* Track and maintain supply inventory* Assist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment* Perform quality, service, and safety inspections* Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor* Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor* Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, and supplies* Correct at risk behavior and report to the supervisor immediately* The ability to drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities may be necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.* Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement **Qualification**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
