Job summary

SBM is hiring a Custodial Lead to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas while providing some direction to custodial staff. You will perform janitorial tasks, follow the daily schedule, and assist the supervisor with scheduling and training.

The role requires CPR/First Aid and a valid driver’s license if needed. The position runs Monday through Friday from 6:00pm to 2:30am, offering $18.50–$20.50 per hour with potential safety and quality inspections as part of performance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year related custodial experience.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

Custodial Lead# **Job Description:****Job Overview**The Custodial Lead will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned and provides some work direction to custodial staff. **Roles & Responsibilities**To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.* Perform janitorial duties* Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule* Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor* Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed* Operate motorized cleaning equipment* Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair* Schedule clean up and repairs as needed* Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area* Track and maintain supply inventory* Assist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment* Perform quality, service, and safety inspections* Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor* Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor* Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, and supplies* Correct at risk behavior and report to the supervisor immediately* Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement **Qualification**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
