Job summary

Cinema Carousel in Muskegon is seeking hard-working, early risers to join our part-time Cleaning Crew. You will help create a safe, welcoming space where stories happen by performing daily cleaning of auditoriums, lobbies, restrooms, and parking lots.

Responsibilities include vacuuming, trash removal, carpet care, and window washing, plus seasonal maintenance like snow removal. Candidates must be reliable, able to lift up to 40lbs, and work weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to start as early as 5:00am.
• Efficient time management and reliability.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely.
• Clear communication for facility upkeep.
• Strong work ethic and teamwork mindset.
• Able to stand for 6-8 hours, lift up to 40lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain theater auditoriums, lobbies, restrooms and parking lots daily.
• Vacuum, trash removal, carpet cleaning, sweeping, mopping, seat and bathroom cleaning, windows.
• Perform seasonal indoor/outdoor maintenance tasks such as snow removal.
• Use proper PPE as required.
• Maintain inventory of custodial supplies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure a clean and safe guest experience by cleaning and maintaining theater auditoriums, lobbies, restrooms and parking lots on a daily basis
• Daily responsibilities consist of: vacuuming, pick up and removal of trash, carpet cleaning, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning seats & bathrooms, washing windows and more
• Perform seasonal indoor and/or outdoor maintenance tasks when needed e.g. snow removal
• Must use proper personal protection equipment, as required
• Maintain inventory of custodial supplies

QUALIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to start as early as 5:00am
• Time management and efficiency skills required
• Ability to use commercial cleaning equipment
• Communication skills in order to ensure proper maintenance of facility
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to be on your feet and active for 6-8 hours or more, climb stairs, lift up to 40lbs, and use commercial cleaning equipment
• A team player who’s willing to go above and beyond for guests and peers
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as required
• Must love people, food, movies, and cleaning!
