Description

Position Summary:

The Custodial Assistants primary responsibility is to maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse facility and custodial duties as requested by the Warehouse and Distribution Center Manager, as well as ensure that the building is free of garbage and cardboard. In addition, the Custodial Assistant will keep a running inventory of all cleaning supplies and submit purchasing requests when supplies are running low.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)

Perform general cleaning duties such as cleaning/wiping down specific areas, sweeping, restocking bathrooms, and emptying trash bins.
Material handling such as finding materials or equipment and placing them where they need to go.
Keeps cleaning supply closet and other areas neat and organized.
Helping with weather permitted maintenance such as light snow removal and salting.
Replenish water as necessary.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have any supervisory duties.
