Job summary

MacKenzie-Childs is seeking a Custodial Assistant to maintain the cleanliness of the Fulton, NY warehouse facility and perform custodial duties as requested by the Warehouse and Distribution Center Manager. The role includes keeping a running inventory of cleaning supplies and submitting purchasing requests when supplies run low.

The position requires a High School Diploma and availability for evenings and weekends.

• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties such as cleaning/wiping down specific areas, sweeping, restocking bathrooms, and emptying trash bins.
• Material handling such as finding materials or equipment and placing them where they need to go.
• Keeps cleaning supply closet and other areas neat and organized.
• Helping with weather permitted maintenance such as light snow removal and salting.
• Replenish water as necessary.
