Job summary

MacKenzie-Childs is seeking a Custodial Assistant to maintain the cleanliness of the Fulton, NY warehouse facility and perform custodial duties as requested by the Warehouse and Distribution Center Manager. The role includes keeping a running inventory of cleaning supplies and submitting purchasing requests when supplies run low.

The position requires a High School Diploma and availability for evenings and weekends.

• Helping with weather permitted maintenance such as light snow removal and salting.
• Replenish water as necessary.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $18.00 Hourly

Position Summary

The Custodial Assistant’s primary responsibility is to maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse facility and custodial duties as requested by the Warehouse and Distribution Center Manager, as well as ensure that the building is free of garbage and cardboard. In addition, the Custodial Assistant will keep a running inventory of all cleaning supplies and submit purchasing requests when supplies are running low.

Physical and Mental Requirements

• High mental and visual attention required for planning difficult work methods and sequences to obtain size, shape, or physical qualities of product.
• Exerts in excess of 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Environmental Conditions

The worker is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions including temperature changes, noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, dust, garbage and moving mechanical parts.
