Tresco, Inc. is hiring a Part-Time Custodial & Grounds Worker in Alamogordo, NM. The role involves outdoor grounds maintenance and indoor custodial duties, with a pay rate of $15.50 per hour. Weekends off is a benefit; driving is required.

A background check and drug screen will be conducted. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and relevant custodial or groundskeeping experience. Valid driver’s license and the ability to pass checks are required to join a mission-focused team

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Groundskeeping or custodial experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Grounds maintenance: mow, edge and trim lawns to maintain a professional appearance.
• Remove litter and debris from grounds and pathways.
• Provide weed control and desert landscape maintenance.
• Operate outdoor equipment: weed eaters, edgers, hedge trimmers, blowers, and more.
• Assist with special outdoor projects as assigned.
• Custodial duties: clean and maintain restrooms, floors and public areas.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum and polish as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass doors and entryways.
• Replenish paper goods, soap, deodorizers and batteries.
• Perform monthly high-dusting and advanced floor care.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned and operable.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Grounds Maintenance Responsibilities:
