Job summary

New Hudson Facades is seeking a Quality Inspector in Upper Chichester, PA to ensure curtainwall components meet quality and installation standards. The role requires reading 2D/3D drawings, inspecting materials, and maintaining logs using Epicor.

The ideal candidate has experience in heavy manufacturing, strong measurement skills, and the ability to multitask while adhering to NHF safety guidelines. This is a full-time on-site position with opportunities to contribute to multi-area projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy manufacturing or large-assembly environments.
• Ability to read and understand 2D engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with manipulating 3D engineering drawings on CAD software.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with measurement tools (tape measure, caliper, protractor).
• Ability to multitask and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills in reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Inspect curtainwall components at various production stages for quality/compliance.
• Inspect and test incoming materials against drawings and standards; log results.
• Enter NCRs for discrepant materials and assist QC Coordinator with rejected parts.
• Read and manipulate 2D/3D CAD drawings to verify fabrication/installation accuracy.
• Communicate quality issues to upstream teams and provide data for problem resolution.
• Maintain inspection logs and spreadsheets; track hours in Epicor.
• Follow NHF safety standards and protect tools and equipment.
• Fulfill other tasks as assigned by management.
