Job summary

New Hudson Facades is seeking a Quality Inspector (2nd Shift) in Upper Chichester, PA to ensure curtainwall components meet quality and installation standards throughout manufacturing.

You will read 2D/3D CAD drawings, inspect materials and finished units, log results, and coordinate with upstream teams to address issues. HS Diploma required; AS degree preferred; experience in curtainwall or construction helps.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma is required.
• AS Degree or higher preferred.
• Experience in curtainwall/construction industry preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect curtainwall components at various stages for quality and cleanliness.
• Test incoming materials against drawings and procedures; log results.
• Enter NCRs for discrepant materials and assist in managing rejects.
• Read/manipulate 2D/3D CAD drawings to verify fabrication and installation.
• Communicate quality issues to upstream teams to support unit quality.
• Maintain inspection logs and spreadsheets; track hours in ERP.
• Comply with NHF safety standards and use of calibrated tools.
• Handle and care for inspection tools (calipers, protractors, etc.).
• Perform other tasks as required by management.
