Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade with two years of college coursework.
• Experience: Two years of technical, administrative, and/or secretarial experience including responsibilities related to preparation of complex documents. Experience with instructional programs desirable.
• Knowledge of office procedures, tools and databases, MIS systems, and salary processing is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the development of the schedule of classes; establish timelines with college administrators.
• Oversee and support database management, data entry, and room assignments.
• Identify and resolve problems related to schedule development to ensure compliance with policies.
• Analyze course information from deans to set up courses for the catalog.
• Input department codes and prerequisite data to set up courses.
• Verify class data and input it into Banner for catalog and schedule creation.
• Create all campus Course Reference Numbers (CRN) for regular and special courses.
• Coordinate with Student Services during registration regarding changes and additions.
• Assist with instructor workload calculations and contracts and resolve discrepancies.
