Curriculum Manager
Mission: The Programming & Software Development Career and Technical Education (CTE) Curriculum Manager is responsible for managing and supporting the successful implementation of the CTE curriculum at IDEA Public Schools. The role involves leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive, research-based, standards-aligned, and user-friendly curriculum. The Curriculum Manager will execute a curriculum implementation support system to enhance teacher effectiveness and student success. Responsibilities include conducting site visits, providing feedback, designing and facilitating professional development, seeking feedback, and reporting on student progress and achievement.

Location: Full-time position based in Texas, preference for candidates in Austin, El Paso, Houston, Permian Basin (Midland/Odessa), Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, and Tarrant County (Fort Worth), or those willing to relocate.
Expectations: While this is a remote position, in-person meetings and events are required. Travel up to 30% during peak times is expected.
Key Responsibilities:
Knowledge and Skills: Expertise in curriculum design, understanding of state and national standards, assessment familiarity, research-based pedagogical approaches, organizational and communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
Required Experience: Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), 5+ years teaching in relevant content area, educator certification, proficiency in Microsoft 365, educational technology, and learning management systems.
Preferred Experience: Proven student achievement results, curriculum development experience, professional development facilitation, leadership experience.
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for prolonged periods, lift up to 20 pounds, and travel as needed.
Compensation & Benefits: Salaries typically range from $81,800 to $95,800, with performance pay, health plans, insurance, vacation, professional development, and a 403(b) plan. Relocation stipends may be available.
