Job Description

You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing pre-licensure curricula, ensuring processes meet professional, accreditation, and regulatory standards based on the latest evidence. You will collaborate across stakeholders to develop courses that surpass expectations, address evolving student needs, and deliver desired outcomes. Your role includes directing resources to create standardized courses with top-tier materials, technologies, and pedagogies. You will serve as a senior curriculum expert, guiding initiatives, promoting evaluation, and assessing curriculum outcomes. Collaboration with faculty, administration, clinical education, and other departments is essential to ensure timely implementation of cutting-edge courses and curricula.

Responsibilities:

Project Management

• Develop goals and project plans for course development.
• Manage multiple projects, monitor progress, and ensure quality and timeliness.
• Coordinate resources and faculty SMEs for course development.
• Provide updates to curriculum leadership and resolve potential barriers.
• Participate in quality assurance reviews and manage project budgets.

Assessment

• Design assessments aligned with best practices to evaluate student learning and course effectiveness.
• Analyze data to inform curriculum improvements.
• Engage in research related to curriculum and teaching assessment.

Curriculum Development & Course Design

• Lead course development, establishing activities, timelines, and resource needs.
• Educate faculty on content delivery, teaching strategies, and resource utilization.
• Maintain curriculum maps ensuring consistency and compliance with standards.

Leadership

• Ensure curriculum compliance with accreditation standards.
• Mentor and develop team members.
• Develop policies and stay current with healthcare and education trends.

Qualifications

• MSN required; DNP or PhD preferred.
• At least 5 years of curriculum and course development experience.
• Experience with online, blended, and onsite education preferred.
• Proven ability in active learning strategies and educational technologies.
• Knowledge of instructional theories, project management, and faculty development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems, assessment tools, multimedia technologies is a plus.
• Ability to work remotely and manage multiple initiatives effectively.

Additional Information
