Job summary

Symbiosis Educational Consultants, a learning design firm in Paramus, NJ, is hiring a Curriculum Designer to independently or with faculty develop instructional content for in-person, hybrid, and online courses.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts, conduct needs assessments, craft learning objectives, design assessments and activities, and evaluate learning effectiveness while guiding best practices for integrating technology.

Qualifications

• Experience in higher education Training & Development, Instructional Design, or Curriculum Development.
• Proficiency in Learning Management Systems and digital learning tools.
• Ability to create engaging, interactive learning experiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field (Master's preferred).
• Experience in higher education is a plus.
• Knowledge of Quality Matters and Online Learning Consortium Scorecard is desirable.

Role Description

This is a full-time role based in Paramus, NJ. As a Curriculum Designer, you will be responsible for independently or partnering with faculty and developing instructional content and materials for in-person, hybrid and online courses. Your daily tasks will include collaborating with subject matter experts, conducting needs assessments, creating learning objectives, designing assessments and interactive activities, and evaluating the effectiveness of the learning experience. You will also provide guidance on best practices for integrating technology and digital learning tools into course design.
