Job summary

McGraw Hill is seeking a Curriculum Specialist to join our California team, a remote role with travel about 80% of the time. The position focuses on presenting and implementing McGraw Hill curriculum to educators, district leaders, and admins to drive adoption and outcomes.

The role requires 3+ years of teaching, strong ELA/Math/Science pedagogy knowledge, and proficiency with presentation tools. Travel nationwide within the U.S. is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful teaching experience; leadership at school, district, or state level desirable.
• Expertise in elementary and/or secondary ELA, Math, Science, or Humanities pedagogy.
• Experience selling and supporting curriculum implementation in education sales.
• Experience presenting to varied audiences (teachers, coaches, district staff) or coaching educators.
• Strong communication, rapport-building, and audience engagement.
• Proficient with presentation software and hardware for virtual and in-person delivery.

Responsibilities

• Fostering relationships and leveraging knowledge to increase sales.
• Delivering winning sales presentations and pre- and post-sales support.
• Demonstrating understanding of products and territory revenue goals in the educational landscape.
• Collaborating with sales team and working in a self-directed manner.
• Staying current in educational trends, priorities, initiatives, and pedagogy.
