Job summary

Ohio State University is seeking an Education Program Associate Specialist to guide course reviews and maintain curricular records within the College of Arts and Sciences. You will collaborate with program leadership to ensure timely progression of proposals and maintain web content for Curriculum and Assessment.

Required is a bachelor’s degree and strong written and oral communication, plus knowledge of higher education governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Sciences, Public Affairs, or Education or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of higher education curriculum and university governance.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and academic coordination.

Responsibilities

• Guide the course review process for multiple curricular subgroups.
• Pre-screen curriculum and proposals for policy compliance.
• Craft communications to academic units across the university.
• Facilitate timely movement of courses through review.
• Maintain public and internal curricular records for the College.
• Support Program Manager and Assistant Dean; maintain web content.
• Coordinate curricular review with Arts and Sciences staff and leadership.
• Assist on special projects under supervision.
