Job summary

Bailey Information Technology, LLC seeks an Operations Specialist for USARCENT Staff Augmentation at Shaw AFB, SC. The role supports the G2 intelligence function, coordinating current operations and producing time-sensitive intelligence products for command staff.

The ideal candidate has DoD intelligence operations experience, a SECRET clearance, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict security controls.

Qualifications

• Prior military or DoD intelligence operations experience, particularly in a current operations or watch-floor capacity.
• Knowledge of the intelligence cycle and Army/Joint reporting formats.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive operational environment.
• Active SECRET clearance (or higher) required at time of hire; interim clearances are not accepted.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.

About the Role The G2 supports a wide range of intelligence functions spanning the full intelligence cycle, from collection to dissemination. In this role, you'll help keep command leadership current on intelligence developments across the USCENTCOM region.

What You’ll Do

• Monitor and track current intelligence operations and reporting relevant to the region.
• Prepare and update intelligence summaries, running estimates, and situational awareness products for command staff.
• Coordinate current operations intelligence requirements across G2 sections and with higher/adjacent headquarters.
• Support watch/battle-rhythm functions, ensuring timely dissemination of time-sensitive intelligence information.
• Maintain current operations tracking tools and databases.

What You’ll Need

• Prior military or DoD intelligence operations experience, particularly in a current operations or watch-floor capacity.
• Working knowledge of the intelligence cycle and Army/Joint intelligence reporting formats.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive operational environment.
• Experience with standard DoD intelligence systems and databases a plus.
• Active, favorably adjudicated SECRET clearance (or higher) required at time of hire — interim clearances are not accepted for this position.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Must be able to complete a favorable background investigation appropriate to the position within the first week of starting, and obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) within the first two weeks.
• Must complete required security, anti-terrorism, and information assurance training within the first 30 days, and annually thereafter.
• If the position requires a security clearance, must complete annual threat-awareness and operations-security refresher training.
• Professional appearance and conduct consistent with a military headquarters environment.
• No travel required for this position.
