Bailey Information Technology Consultants, LLC is seeking an experienced Current Operations Specialist to support USARCENT Staff Augmentation in the G2 (Intelligence) Directorate at Shaw Air Force Base, SC. The role involves supporting a wide range of intelligence functions and keeping command leadership current on developments across the USCENTCOM region.

You will monitor intelligence operations, prepare summaries and running estimates, coordinate requirements, and support watch-battle rhythms

Formación

• Prior military or DoD intelligence operations experience, especially in a current operations or watch-floor capacity.
• Working knowledge of the intelligence cycle and Army/Joint reporting formats.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive operational environment.
• Active, favorably adjudicated SECRET clearance (or higher) required at time of hire — interim clearances are not accepted for this position.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Must complete a favorable background investigation within the first week and obtain a DoD CAC within two weeks.
• Must complete required security, anti-terrorism, and information assurance training within the first 30 days, and annually thereafter.
• If the position requires a security clearance, must complete annual threat-awareness and operations-security refresher training.
• Professional appearance and conduct consistent with a military headquarters environment.
• No travel required for this position.

About the Role

The G2 supports a wide range of intelligence functions spanning the full intelligence cycle, from collection to dissemination. In this role, you'll help keep command leadership current on intelligence developments across the USCENTCOM region.

• Coordinate current operations intelligence requirements across G2 sections and with higher/adjacent headquarters.

• Maintain current operations tracking tools and databases.

What You'll Need

• Prior military or DoD intelligence operations experience, particularly in a current operations or watch-floor capacity.
• Working knowledge of the intelligence cycle and Army/Joint intelligence reporting formats.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive operational environment.
• Experience with standard DoD intelligence systems and databases a plus.
• Active, favorably adjudicated SECRET clearance (or higher) required at time of hire — interim clearances are not accepted for this position.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Must be able to complete a favorable background investigation appropriate to the position within the first week of starting, and obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) within the first two weeks.
• Must complete required security, anti-terrorism, and information assurance training within the first 30 days, and annually thereafter.
