Job summary

Bailey Information Technology, LLC is seeking a Contractor Special Security Representative (SSR) to support USARCENT's G2 Directorate at Shaw Air Force Base, SC. The role focuses on proper handling, safeguarding, and accountability of sensitive intelligence information in a military environment.

You will administer day-to-day SSO functions, process access requests, maintain rosters and security documentation, and advise personnel on information handling. A TOP SECRET clearance and U.S.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Special Security Representative, SSO Assistant, or equivalent security administration role.
• Working knowledge of applicable DoD/IC security policy and procedures.
• Active TOP SECRET clearance required at time of hire; interim clearances are not accepted.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Must complete required training within the first 30 days, and annually thereafter.

• Must be able to complete a favorable background investigation appropriate to the position within the first week of starting, and obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) within the first two weeks.
• Must complete required security, anti-terrorism, and information assurance training within the first 30 days, and annually thereafter.
• If the position requires a security clearance, must complete annual threat-awareness and operations-security refresher training.
• Professional appearance and conduct consistent with a military headquarters environment.
