Job summary

ROCKWOOL International A/S is hiring a Curing Technician in Kearneysville, WV. The role focuses on operating, cleaning, and maintaining curing, cutting, and stacking equipment to sustain production uptime and quality.

The candidate will report to the Production Supervisor and contribute to continuous improvement in a safety-first environment. The position requires a minimum 6 years in continuous flow manufacturing, strong safety awareness, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ continuous flow manufacturing or industrial experience required.
  • Prior experience in aggregate, steel, or metal refining industries preferred.
  • Strong safety awareness with a demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Proven ability to drive KPIs and line performance in a manufacturing setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Safety leadership and role modeling of safety standards.
  • Manage line performance and KPIs while balancing output, quality, and cost.
  • Champion continuous improvement to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
  • Adapt to changes in production while maintaining performance and quality.

  • Mentor and develop new hires within the team.
  • Follow production schedules and accurately record data for traceability.

In this role at ROCKWOOL you are part of a team running the production line to deliver with consistency, the high-quality finished product our customers have come to know and expect. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you safely and effectively operate, clean, troubleshoot, and perform basic preventative maintenance to the machinery in the curing, cutting, and stacking area, focused on continuous improvement and operational uptime.What We’re Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.Minimum of 6 years’ continuous flow manufacturing or industrial experience required.
