Job summary

Stoltzfus Meats, Inc. is seeking a Curbside Supervisor to oversee curbside ordering and pickup at the New Castle Farmers Market, ensuring accurate, timely service for every customer.

You will lead the curbside team, coordinate with market stands, train staff, and maintain clean, safe work areas while delivering high-quality orders on schedule. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily curbside order fulfillment and customer pickup operations.

Job description

The Curbside Supervisor helps make shopping at Stoltzfus Meats easy and convenient for our customers by overseeing curbside ordering and pickup at the New Castle Farmers Market.

This role coordinates the entire curbside process-from receiving and organizing orders to working with our market stands, preparing orders for pickup, and making sure customers receive the right products at the right time. The Curbside Supervisor also leads and supports the curbside team while building strong working relationships with each department throughout the market.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily curbside order fulfillment and customer pickup operations.
• Coordinate order picking, staging, organization, and pickup timing.
• Ensure customer orders are prepared accurately, completely, and on schedule.
• Operate the POS system, process transactions, and handle customer payments accurately.
• Train, schedule, and provide day-to-day direction to curbside team members.
• Communicate with customers regarding order updates, substitutions, product availability, or other questions.
• Work closely with managers and team members across all market stands to ensure product availability, quality, and order accuracy.
• Monitor order volume throughout the day and adjust workflow or staffing as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe curbside work and staging areas.
• Respond to customer questions or concerns and help resolve service issues professionally.
• Maintain awareness of inventory and communicate shortages, substitutions, or product concerns to management.
• Follow company policies, food safety requirements, and established operational procedures.
• Assist with other market operations when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory, retail, customer service, or leadership experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn the products, processes, and operations of all five Stoltzfus Meats market stands.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities at the same time.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change throughout the day.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond professionally to customer concerns.
• Ability to lead, support, and motivate team members.
• Basic computer, POS, and order management system skills preferred.
• Dependable and able to work the established Thursday through Saturday schedule.

Schedule

• Thursday: 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
• Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to move throughout the market while collecting and preparing customer orders.

Training Provided

You do not need to know every product or department on day one. We will provide hands‑on training to help you become comfortable and confident in the role.

As part of your training, you will spend time working alongside team members in all five of our New Castle Farmers Market stands. This will give you the opportunity to learn our products, understand how each department operates, and get to know the small details that help us put together accurate, high‑quality customer orders.
