Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders with speed and accuracy, turning digital shopping into convenient pickup experiences. You’ll interact with customers, coordinate with team members, and follow store procedures to ensure a smooth carside checkout.

Ideal candidates are customer-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable learning new technologies. Minimum 1 year of retail or cashier experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable curbside service at the Meijer Pickup area with accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers courteously in person and on the phone and respond to questions and needs.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders during the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items per standards.
• Store and stage orders following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
